I VOLUNTEER AS A TRIBUTE TO FASHION.

Well gosh.

I just suck, don't I?

I have been so busy lately, I haven't even had time to dress like myself. Yup, THAT busy. And if I don't have time for that, well, you see the effects. No posting for almost two weeks. I'm sorry.  But lets do a current events report. And if you know me, you know the ONLY current event I'm interested in talking about is Jennifer Lawrence and the Hunger Games. I don't even know where to start.

Ok, here: I could live in the capitol forever and be blissfully happy. The hair, the makeup, the outfits. Gorgeousness. I mean, aside from the fact that they murder 23 children every year in tremendously gruesome ways for their own entertainment, the residents of District 1 are my PEOPLE. Commence me moving into Cinna's closet.

And now for Jennifer: The girl knows what she's doing. From the red carpet to a GORGEOUS cover for Interview, the girl on fire is..on fire. Bad joke, I know, but whatev. See Example A..

Yes, I do know this is not related in any way to the Hunger games, But neither am I so there you have it. This was arguably one of my favorite red carpet looks ever. It calls to mind Emma Stone's 86th Golden Globes Calvin Klein dress, which I also adored.

I have recently discovered I am into simple, sleek outfits. But I really hate the word "Sleek". Reminds me of lurex. ew.

Moving on.

As I said before (I know, I know, I'm repeating myself, I'm tired, cut me come ribbon. or whatever itis people say.) J is on the cover of the most recent Interview magazine, (Remember that Katy Perry picture??)in Marina-and-The-Diamonds-meets-punk-girl-in-London makeup (I am putting a heart on my face with a Sharpie)  and an AHMAZING corset/bodysuit thing.

 Gorge, right? I thought so.

Have you seen the Hunger Games yet??

May the odds be ever in your favor. Especially when you're getting dressed.

xx,
J

TOTES AMAZE.

Ok, so I know that I am a complete slacker and keep posting videos, and I'm sure you are 100% fed up to the hilt with me, but give me this last laugh and then I promise I will write a real post soon. ish. ANYway, I'm sure you all know who P'Trique C'est Chic is. If you don't, don't admit it. In the lieu of an actual Fashion Week post coming from my corner, please watch this. P'Trique is my spirit animal.

Wasn't that (hashtag) TOTES AMAZE?

American Idol Who?

And there we did it. Fashion has OFFICIALLY invaded television. Project Runway, Jane by Design (more on what is now my favorite show later), and now, Fashion Star. I'm not a fan of the name, but I LOVE the theory. Watching something go down the runway, judged, and then being able to buy it RIGHT THEN is brilliant.Alas, it's been done before. In Japan every year, there is a mega fashion show called the Tokyo Girls Collection. It follows basically the same principle. In reality, last night's premire was sort of..ehhh. And the opening act fell a little flat. I don't know about you, but I'm just not the bigggest fan of models in lingerie and cheap wigs running down a runway to throw themselves at a motercycle, then stand up and strut away. As for the designers, nothing I saw really gripped me, and several were, as Nicole Richie put it best, "all KINDS of no." And that Australian idiot with the "fashion forward biker jackets" (NOT) called to mind that saying "Light travels faster than sound, which is why someone appears bright until they open their mouth." I still can't believe he opened his mouth and told JESSICA SIMPSON, a MENTOR, that she didn't know what she was talking about, because women have no idea whats going on in menswear. I kept thinking "It's time for you to shut up now.." and he KEPT TALKING. He obviously wasn't picking up on my telepathic waves. Anyway, he was sent back to the land of the sheep.  In case you missed last nights episode, I have it for your here :)

I think this show has potential, but I'm not sure if it's going to live up to it fast enough.I guess we'll have to wait and see.

"What colors do you think look good on me??" i.e. Random Post Tuesday

As most of you know, I love Taylor Swift. I just think she's really sweet and down to earth. So for today's random post, please enjoy "Tea Time With Sophia Grace and Rosie", everyones favorite princesses from the UK, with Taylor Swift. :)

I've got to get myself a new tiara.
